New Project in the Studio - 1930 Art Blocks
I mentioned a little while back that I had found these very slim 1930s published volumes of poetry and prose with the most stunning graphics on the covers. My German is a little rusty so I'm not sure how many volumes were in the set. I found four. And they're enchanting. I'm in the process of creating some decorative blocks using the wonderful strong graphics. Here are the first two, one in yellow and one in red. The next two will be in blue and green. Stay tuned. I think they're coming out very well.

Inspired by the 1930s
Black and white patterns from the 1930s. Love this graphic image.
I've been playing with some patterns that I found on old slim German poetry books. The design image is so strong I can play with it a bit.
Eventually, I have in mind to use these for some decorative elements. Stay tuned. I'll let you know how it turns out.
