I've become obsessed with vintage postctards. The ones that are slightly colorized and depict these idyllic scenes that you want to jump in and live the life. Here are a few of my recent favorites. From places near and far. This garden scene from Santa Barbara is really lovely (to see it upclose go
here.
There is also a lovely card from the Mohawk Trail, a winding road in
Western Massachusetts that I'm fond of. Its calming.
See.

I agree. there is something so alluring about old postcards! we used reproductions of vintage hawaiian postcards {we went there on our honeymoon} instead of a guestbook at our wedding and had a mailbox for people to put them in. It was so much fun to read the messages that everyone wrote!
found you on etsy forums, I hope you'll come visit me too!

These are lovely!
I just found some vintage Indonesian postcards at a nearby OP shop. They're great and I'm keeping them in my treasures box...
Galit - thanks for stopping by. You've given me a great idea for a new feature on my blog fantasy-vacations. Better than a stay-vacation. Stay tuned for further updates.
