On a Wing and a Prayer - Retro Cup and Saucer

I love a beautiful cup and saucer. I sip my coffee at a more leisurely pace from a cup.

A mug is a fast gulp, not a slow savour. I stumbled across this beautiful Red Wing Lotus Bronze pattern in one of our local shops last week. I thought it might suit me just fine.

When I got it home, even though I was still very much in love, I realized that the maroonish red color clashed with my kitchen. And even though I'm not a matchy-matchy kind of person, I couldn't really harmonize the c and p with my kitchen.
