Fabulous Fun at Boston's Institute of Contemporary Art Family Fun Day
The kids and I just returned from a delightful afternoon at Boston's ICA. On the last Saturday of most months they host a day of activities especially for families. We have done this a bunch of times and each time is a hit. We don't necessarily participate in all the organized activities - today was Tape Scapes, making sculpture from scotch tape. We spent a great hour sketching in the upstairs digital gallery that overlooks Boston Harbor. The ICA has released the dates for their upcoming family-oriented activities. Mark them on your calendar now - you won't be disappointed. Any excuse to see the great rotating exhibits and visit the wonderful building, I say!
