My kids are obsessed with Mary Poppins. Where does she come from? How do the chimney sweeps get up on the roofs? What is Chim Chim Churee? Last summer we went to London to try to get answers to these questions. Well, we didn't get any answers but we had so much fun. Since travel fun for an 8 and 4 year old means something completely different than normal.
Item Number 1: riding on the double decker bus (even though there's no driver on the top). We went from end to end on a bus that appeared in front of our hotel. Along the way, we would hop off at every playground we saw.
Item Number 2: Princess Di's Playground complete with Pirate Ship in Hyde Park.
Item Number 3: The Mummies at the British Museum. Lots of great things to see, but, the 'ombies held the greatest appeal.
We can't wait to go back!
