I took the kids to see Ponyo. What a delightful movie! Beautiful Japanese wood block aesthetic. Lovely characters and a very special plot. My friend Anne says that Howl's Moving Castle is even better - we're on the hunt: maybe Netflicks can help. Of course the kids were more impressed that Myley Cyrus' sister sang the soundtrack - but never mind that.
