Sources for Ephemera

I'm always scouting out places to find interesting old books and papers to use in some of my work. Recently I revisited a favorite haunt here in Boston, the venerable Brattle Book Shop. Its tucked away at 9 West Street in Downtown Boston and is a terrific source of wonders. They have outside stalls with all sorts of things. And when you venture indoors you find a multi-floor warren of books, papers, periodicals and postcards.

Summer Smiles

Just returned from a glorious rest on the North Shore of Boston. The kids really loved being near the ocean. We swam, climbed on the rocks at Hallibut Point and collected shells along the beach (some shells were designated for personal collections and some for family collections.)

I love the tide pools at Hallibut Point. I took some cool photos. One photo reminded me of a print I recently purchased from a lovely artist on etsy: kipi.etsy.com.
