What is it with Twitter? Part Crack, Part Connection. Hmmm.

I started tweeting a few weeks ago. First one cautious tweet.  Then another tweet.  I watched what others were tweeting, and then did the same.  I followed. I gathered followers.  I am friendly not too snarky (most of the time). I shared some personal information and political observations. I advertised some of my Etsy wares and musical discoveries.  I've received encouragement, tips and general informatio.  People follow my links and visit my blog.  Amazing!

 And I'm totally overcome with it.  I can't quite put my finger on why its so compelling.  Can any one tell me?

Quotes to Inspire

I recently received one of those well meaning, but spammy emails from a friend that contained a long list of "inspirational" quotes.  Well for some reason I read through these instead of my usual, toss-this-right-in-the-garbage response.  And you know what, they're actually quite good. 

I've been sharing them around, and I thought I'd put a few up on the blog today:

• Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
• When in doubt, just take the next small step
• Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
• When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
